2010 with a 3” front 2” rear, King coilover suspension with resis. Icon delta joint UCAs.

Front fender rub isn’t a problem, have my order in for a steel bumper.

Currently running 265/70 r17s on FN FX Pro 17x8, 4.5” BS, 0mm offset.

1st and 2nd photo are at full turn.

    Thinking about running 285/70 r17s.

Now try turning to full bump and stuffing a tire. I assume with that suspension setup you do take it offroad.

Ran a 2.5 lift with 285/75/16 with only rubbing on reverse full turn.. it’s close but honestly CMC’s look clean and offer safety

Fox 2.5 w/resi all around, rears tuned from accutune with their larger shock body (1.5"-3" lift), Icon delta joints, OME Dakar medium leaf's, wheelers super bumps, fab fours rear bumper. Lifted 3" in the front and about 2.5" in the rear on some Pro Comp La Paz 17x8.5 wrapped in 285/70 Pro Comp A/T Sport's. SOON TO COME: Lowering front about 1" New tires Rear diff lock Nfab RSP front bumper and some lights
I can't say anything about full flex mid turn until I get my fox 2.5's but im running 285/70/17 on a 3" lift 2008 and I don't rub anything but my current pro comp setup is stiff as hell so im sure I'll be hitting the cab mount with more travel. I've got about as much room to my cab mount as you have to your fender maybe a bit less full lock (I have no CMC) *also a CMC is like $250 whether you absolutely need it or not it's going to be best to get it just in case

Im pretty sure SDHQ's shop taco is running 295's on a 2.25" lift I believe. It's definitely under 3" but the rim offset and what not makes a huge difference as well. Im running 0 offset 4.75 backspacing and this is also what I've read that you would want to properly fit 285's

I'm positive you would be fine with some 185/70R17's, just not sure why you would want to go smaller...

Yes, but mostly Pismo Beach/ Glamis dunes. Starting to get into trails but need to get some skids and sliders.

You're checking the clearance with the truck on a level surface while not in motion. If you shove that fully turned 265 tire up into the wheel well you'll see that the 265s don't have much room to spare.

aint gonna happen and you are kidding yourself if you think 285's are going to fit without CMC, inner fender trimming / removal and pinch weld flattening.

That is unless the granlyest thing your truck sees is the entrance and MAYBE a curb at the mall.

With enough caster, anything is possible. Get an adjustable UCA like SPC and you'll be set. There are plenty of threads where people have been able to get away without CMC. If you plan on doing alot of offroading, that may be an issue.

This is why I made this post!

Give it to me straight boys. If I’m gonna bash my tire every time I flex on a mall curb, then I don’t want it. I want to be able to race in and out of 7-Eleven parking lots with confidence.

Also, looking at CBC photos. Does a CBC & pinch weld pound really provide that much clearance? The before and after of these doesn’t seem like that dramatic of a difference.

Well I will disagree with above. With a 2 inch lift I have not done pintch weld or the cmc chop. I drive through creeks and flex and climb hills and it doesn’t catch the cab mount ever. 285/75/16 inch tire
