When?

 

I talked to him a while ago and he said his Dad didn't want to take the boat out. So he's going down next weekend. Rain this weekend might allow us to go out Snapper fishing next.

 

Anybody ever had or have a review on the brand Malamoo? I can get this tent for an absolute steal from a friend and was wondering if anyone had heard of or used one

2 issues for me personally, can't stand up in it...and the windows roll up from the outside only.

 

Never heard of a Malamoo.

 

Wife and I use a Mountain Hardware tent. We've been using it for 5 years now and it's awesome! It's a backpacking tent and you can't stand in it. I guess the standing tents are more for car camping.

@stronghammer Check out Big Agnes tents. They are some of the best out there!

 

I don't believe any of their tents are instant tents.

I don't want a setup process that takes much more than 1 minute lol.

Yea i was looking at the specs, being able to stand is kinda a deal breaker. Also, turns out thats one of the reason my buddy is trying to get rid of it. He was gonna let me have it for $175 but if I buy a tent, I really dont want to have to squat the whole time Im in it

 

negative. they make instant tents with just as much of the reward, no sense in having a pain in the ass setup.

My wife can setup our tent in like 3 minutes or less. A 3 person tent, weighs 4lbs and it can fit in a backpack!

 

We’ve used a MSR Elixer 3 for about 3 years. We’ve been happy with it. I like the dual doors and dual vestibules on it. You can keep your gear outside the tent and put a queen size air mattress in it if car camping. If backpacking then the single air mattresses fit fine and give you a little more room inside it. Still not going to be able to stand up in any backpacking text though.

I've seriously been debating getting a partner on a cabin. I just get nervous.

 

I'm not going to be backpack camping, all car camping. so all I have to do is strap it down to the truck then setup when I get to the park. easy peasy.

 

Huh? That's what the wood line is for! A small shovel, pack of baby wipes and you're good as gold!
