We have a lugaloo bucket top. We throw some kitty litter in a 13 gallon bag and put it in there. Works okay. Wife wants to get a dometic 5 gallon flushing camp toilet. About $135 for one tho

Edit: and we also have a quick pitch cvt shower tent that is amazing for the ladies

Jeannie and I go up to the Blue Ridge Mountains every Fall. To me, it's much better than Gatlinburg.

Honestly, something big enough for us 2 and the dog and maybe even the kiddo once she is a little older. Definitely want to be able to stand in it but also I did like the idea of that Malamoo having a little mud room/front porch area to be able to leave shoes, clean dog, etc. Nothing set in stone at all really, I just happened to be talking to my buddy and he camps all the time and mention getting rid of his so thats what triggered me even looking around at them. Hannah does really want to have a have a full weekend camping this fall so I have plenty of time to get one.

Sounds just like us. The little room is workable around but the gazelle tent has plenty of space for your needs for sure.

I would be looking for ones that have the most consistent year round travel. Blue Ridge may have just as much as Gatlinburg, but I would buy it wanting it to make money. so about 80% of the time rented.

Buy a cheap utility trailer like a 3.5x5 from lowes or a 4x6 standard utility for around 300 ish and have @Jerneyman build you some bars for it. Flip the axle to give you a little more height. Buy a lighter set of slipper leaf springs from compactcampingdesignes.com and youll have a nice trailer for your needs for well under a grand.

@InfernoChalupa only reason im doing so much extra work to mine is because i plan on it being able to go rock crawling behind the truck. So i bought a heavy duty trailer and im upgrading the axle and suspension to heavier duty components. If you have no intention of getting crazy on the trails with it then its very easy to do. I can help you have it set up and ready in a day

Narrow good, to narrow not good. Also as long as you dont use a lock and roll it wont flip. Im gunna use a pintle hitch /lunette set up so it wont roll all the way over.

I bet Wes would have an idea of how to make your kayak trailer work. Post up a pic of it and maybe we can come up with somthing.
