So I’m not sure who saw my inflate / deflate setup down in the TMOT adventure, but I just discovered there’s a company selling a nearly identical setup for ridiculous money.

I made this over a year ago before you could get the indeflate (originally saw it in a Ronny Dahl video) here in the states and I figured I could do it myself for cheaper. My brother (@Tigerian) has been using one as well.

If anyone is interested I can put together a parts list. This can be had for well under the $200+ companies are selling these for.

I like it because I can do 2 tires at once and have matched pressure between them. I did 2 trucks in 10 minutes last time I used it, so it can save quite a bit of time too out on the trail.

You could probably expand that to do all 4 at once for not much more money. Would only need a 4-way valve, 2 more valve stem connectors, and some more hose.

Sure can. Just a couple more connectors. I didn’t just because it’s more hose to drag around and i usually run different pressure front and rear.

4 way is getting you to having to unravel and collect a heap of hose. At that point you are better off recreating the old 2 way air onboard system. Plumb a schroeder valve to each wheel well and make some whips to connect to them and to your valve stem. Deflate at the primary manifold. Inflate using the same manifold. If you run a different pressure on one axle fill to the lowest pressure of the two axles and then pull their whips.

Thinking out loud: wouldnt it be effective to run one hose front to back and split at the rear? This way you only have one long hose and 4 short ones?

I wish we could do the tire inflation like we do on trucks. They just fill the axle with air. Run a plug out the hub (which is pressurized) then lines to the tires. Super easy.

Their system split it into a pair of runners, one going down each side with a T fitting for each front tire with the line ending at the rear valve. The basis for their design is simply less hardware. By running each drop down the frame rails there is no risk of damage from crossing over at the rear axle.

rago sells a kit like that - the price is pretty painful though... Really not that hard to make on your own for a fraction of the cost.

I was just thinking something like the MORRFlate system but much cheaper to make yourself cause those run $180-$200

Looks like a direct knock off of Dean’s system. Dean died of a heart attack about three years ago and his wife just sold everything left from Rocksmasher and is doing her own thing now.

I agree that if enough of us here wanted to have it on our cars we could bulk buy and everyone would save. I’ll put myself on the list.

One hose running is less hardware. To your point though, what if the rear split doesnt happen at the axle but rather in the space between the cab and bed as shown in the pic?
