60,000 miles

I am at the 60,000 mile point in my truck, what is the minimum I should be having checked/replaced?

You'll probably get more relevant feedback on your question if you post it the 3rd Gen. Tacomas (2016+) forum. In the meantime, recommend you consult the maintenance section of your Owner's Manual.

 

Oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, brake fluid just to start. I'm sure there are many more, are you towing? But yeah, check manual.

Do you do any towing? If so, you may want to think hard about the transmission fluid (if you have an automatic).

Follow the manual. Just had mine done this week. 600 bucks. 360 of it was labor because the plugs are so much fun to change.

Dealer told me plugs aren't necessary until 120k unless I was doing a lot of "extreme" driving, otherwise it was a waste of money to change them during the 60k service.

 

Like I said, I was following the manual. It says plugs at 60. Nothing about extreme driving. At least that's what's in the 2016 manual I have.

60K is an improvement. Second gen manual says to change plugs at 30K as part of the emissions warranty.

 

Opps, I'm at 65k with original plugs. I'll get around to it soon lol

I followed this thread to do mine, did it one night after work. Took a few hours but it's not hard, just go slow and take your time.

Also time to retorque and lubricate the propeller shaft

 

V6 is 60k, but if I am not mistaken the 4 Cylinder has a longer change interval.
