When the plastic model costs 5 times what you paid for the real thing...

It's probably out of stock, Amazon charges to relist so people usually raise the prices sky high to avoid the relist fee and keep people from ordering while out of stock.

This is one of two lounges in the entire country, the other one being at the factory in Fremont.

Talked to the chap at the counter, she said it’s also the biggest in the country at 40 charging stalls. Most stations only have 5-6.

Used to be a Burger King.

@Frontier Man I listened to my video again. What you’re hearing at the beginning is inertia pushing all the crap in my backseat against the wall of the cab.

I’m pretty sure that’s what’s causing it because it didn’t do this on the original transmission.

My rear driveshaft was shortened and balanced at a shop. The front is used, but obviously not engaged in 4HI.

    I doubt it’s the driveshaft.

I'm running an A340E torque converter. Haven't really noticed much difference from pre-4WD conversion. Auto trans is still sluggish. No noises. I do have a driveshaft vibe at low speeds but I'm looking into that with pinion shims and getting a real driveshaft shop to look at my driveshaft. Doubt it was trans related.

The A34x series transmission's most notable feature is sluggishness haha, that's just how they operate and probably why they last 600k mi

It's still ~500rpm different stall speed which will be felt on a 4 banger

4.88 are gonna feel money on his truck, brings the 4 banger right to the base of its powerband at cruising speed and doesn't put him at high load low RPM conditions for the SC. It's ideal

It helps with the shift points when using low range a lot and it makes 1st and 2nd hit torque peak faster for easier takeoffs

You're confusing RPM with load, higher RPM but with the engine not working as hard won't eat more fuel. He'll probably get better MPG at 65-75mph on the highway because less torque is required. Gears trade speed for torque or torque for speed depending how you change the ratios.

lmao, exactly. Friend of mine when we were 19 got CHEESEBURGERS tattooed in huge letters across his stomach, I'm sure he regrets it now.

He can correct his speedo, high octane fuel shouldn't matter. I got 21MPG on a highway trip to Las Vegas with my SC and doing pulls like a child up hills. With better gears I could have gotten more I think.

Oh, well I'd imagine the fun of the SC offsets that a bit haha. If you're worried about switching to high octane gas I wouldn't be considering boost or performance vehicles. I'd be learning how to be easier on the pedal, or seeing about trading in for a used Civic. It's a truck, good MPG is possible but it takes a lot more work. Would take a while to offset the cost of gears with gas savings, so it's best to not act like that is a motivator.

There was a point in time I remember getting 14 MPG with my truck, but it needed things and I was being a dumb kid and not repairing it. But I usually could get 19-23 MPG with or without the SC. I'm very light on the pedal on the highway. It's just around town where gears would have helped my MPG the most but I'm sure I would have seen a nice MPG gain on the highway too. In AZ premium was cheap anyway, never paid over 3.10 per gal. I drove from Apache Junction, AZ to Boulder City, NV on a single tank. That was a long haul and had a lot of elevation change. MPG is as good as you want it to be with your maintenance and right foot.

And yeah the 2RZ bolt to the SC just fine and boosts easy
