My 10mm was in my hand the second I woke up with my heart racing. Sat in silence for 60seconds could hear it walking off.. then opened the hammock and looked around for 60 seconds.. sat up put my shoes on walked around camp with my flashlight... started a fire then woke up my gsd and pulled him out of the truck.. laid on the ground in front of the fire with my gsd laying behind and caught a few more zzz’s

On a different note. I probably won’t have him locked up in the backseat of the truck in the future as he definitely would’ve alerted me a lot sooner had he not been stowed away

My friends woke up to gunfire when I was forced to fire a warning shot at mountain cows that were scaring my horse. Animals pick up on intent and a round in the ground right under the cow's (maybe it was a bull?) head got my message across. They didn't bother coming out of thier camper however. Cows and cowboys are long gone from Table Mountain (near Blewett Pass on SR 97).

Little bit different. But, I'll defer to your wisdom. You're the connoisseur after all.

Had pretty much the same exact thing happen to me camping over the weekend. My buddy and I were hammock camping and everyone else in the group were in tents. He got up to pee at some point and mid pee happened to look right into the eyes of a cougar. He then slowly backed up past his hammock and grabbed his top quilt, kept backing up past my hammock, and eventually got to another friends tent and jumped in. The bastard didn't even wake me to let me know there was a fluffy nearby. I feel like that breaks some bro code or something.

Talking with my buddy who was in the other hammock after the fact... the cougar rubbed up against him and woke him up. He was so startled and scared he didn’t even reach for his gun, just froze.

Damn cats.. also that definitely breaks bro code he didn’t let you know.. would’ve just watched that big beautiful cat eat that cougar taco. All wrapped up already.

Always camp and hike with someone who runs slower than you.

God damn it, my plate bumper wore through my high pressure AC line and its $360 for a new line. I tried a splice repair, but its on a bend in the line and it blew when the shop tried to charge it. Is there any way to repair an aluminum line like that? I'm about to go to Utah for 2 weeks where its going to very hot in the desert so i kinda need this fixed.

Not sure where you are located specifically but you could always try the hydraulic hose shops. My shop doesn't do Aluminum, but you could try northsound hose, pacific rubber, or western fluid. just a thought. :notsure:

Would that be able to hold the kind of pressure the high side of an AC system would generate? A quick search shows pressures up to 250 psi
