But no boost haha. The cruiser gets regular old fuel and is supposed to get 13MPG highway, I've had no problem getting it above 15MPG on trips and even managed 17.6 on my last trip back from Cali

I used cruise control the entire time and instead of speeding up to pass I slowed down to let things get close and then did the speed limit to pass. I even check to make sure my speedo was on point and that I didn't have a tailwind. I had a crosswind. Makes me excited to give it a new ECU in fall.

The last thing I bought from a door to door salesman was a vacuum back in 98. Still have it and it still works great but we overpaid and it was the last door salesman purchase we ever made.

Really? I’ve never had a door to door salesman. I do get plenty of Jehova’s Witnesses though.

They follow people in the gates, even though the literally every house says no soliciting and so does the gate.

Watching a 2nd time I realize you do hit a bump or pothole or something right at the 1st shift. I see nothing to complain about.

Just saw this in another thread

I assume you have to cover your own fuel and bring your own camping supplies and offroad equipment, so they basically want $3600 from you to tag along on a road trip and learn a few cast iron cooking recipes and how to use traction boards. Wow.

    Seriously...

$5k per head and I'll show you what it's like to follow a red truck around and do some cool stuff haha

To think, all this time I've been leading trail runs for free. Shame on me

Over landing seems like it’s getting out of hand.

That business model caters to the exact crowd that's diluting the whole hobby...people with more money than sense that buy all the top of the line vehicles and gear and then don't want to put any of the actual effort into learning how to use it or get involved with the community, so they just pay stupid sums of money to someone else to 'show them the way'. Then they can brag that they've done it when they get home.

Kind of like those crazy expensive guided hike tours that REI does, but at least with those they provide the meals and they're actually guiding you through some pretty remote places.

Judging by the Mercedes Sprinter/Ram Promaster in that pic, Id say its just gravel roads from Seattle to Moab. Would be super boring for that much money.

Yes, I did hit a bump in the road. Didn’t help I had a bunch of crap sliding around. I’ll take a better video when I get the Methanol and gauges out in and the ECU is adjusted.
