I've been able to negotiate $1000 off MSRP on a 2020 TRD Pro! Just need to wait til ordering is open to get mine in.

Guess is around mid to late July, but nothing for sure yet. I’m planning to see the truck around Oct/Nov, earlier would be great but I think that’s realistic.

I’m still getting offers from dealers, so we’ll see what’s the best I can come up with.

PS love the username. I’m from Seattle and obviously Jon as well:thumbsup:

We’re kind of in the same boat. We just sold our 4Runner and were about to buy a 19 OR, and best pricing I could get was around $39k OTD (Auto, premium + tech). The LED lights (might be available in the other trims, still unknown), new audio/entune, power seats (I’m short) and especially the army green, kind of just pushed us over the edge. Is a Pro necessary? Definitely not, but we fell right into Toyota’s hand with the refresh.

Wait until September 2020 then. Should be a standard color on the 2021 model. So far Toyota has added the pro color to the standard line up color the following year. If that holds true this year then Voodoo Blue will be available on any standard trim.

@Jon. The 2018s and 2019 are not coming down slightly in price? Crazy. I would be worried if I owned a Toyota dealership because people are gonna prefer waiting for the 2020 instead.

Yeah, you’d think. I reached out to nearly every dealer in the state and 39k was the best I could get OTD. o_O

I was able to negotiate down to invoice on a 2020 TRD Pro.

Will do, but it’ll be a long while

Anybody think they'll get rid of the chrome bumper caps and just put black plastic? The chrome looks so out of place on everything except maybe the Limited.

Does anyone think we will be able to retrofit in the Entune/Apple Carplay headunits into an older Taco? I have looked and saw Infotainment.com sells the premium jbl head units.

I know if it does become a reality, it'll be pricey.

    A few.
Those tires look bigger in those pics. Is it possible those new wheels are 17 inch with 265/70/17 tires? That is the tire size on the 4 runner pro.

Awhile back, in this thread or one of the other 2020 threads, someone came on and claimed to work with Toyota and on the Tacoma specifically and said that the new HUs would work on previous 3rd Gen Tacomas and would only require an extra harness to be able to be swapped in. Take that as you wish. We won't truly know until they come out and someone tries it.

I believe all the documentation that they released says they are 16" wheels

    Yup, I think they're 16s.

"Headlining the exterior changes are new 16-inch wheels. These black TRD wheels will also be lighter, over 4 pounds lighter than last year’s wheels. Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Kevlar-reinforced tires will allow you to road trip it across the most difficult terrain."

We also know that the pre-production trucks don't necessarily ride on 100% production setups. IIRC the 2015 Pro was on Falken tires at the reveal event and they came with BFG AT KOs. I know they didn't have white letters and I'm not 100% sure they were 70 series. I'll have to do some digging.
