I recently just bought a used 2016 TRD OR double cab and I want to put a more Aggressive tire on right now it has geolander H/T on. I am torn between a 265/75/16 Falken wildpeak or going 255/85/16 st/Maxx? I am trying to stay with stock suspension as a lift really isn’t in the cards anytime soon. I really only drive truck on weekends as I have a company vehicle for work and I am not overly concerned with loss of a few MPG as company I work for pays for all my gas and I just came from a 2500 hd Silverado, and any long trips we take my wife’s highlander. So any insight or suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

The ST Maxx is a great tire....I’ve got the 255/85/16s on my MT Pro and I really like them. Do be aware that since they’re a skinny tire they do tend to be pushed around by imperfections in the road a bit more than non-skinny tires.

Great way to get 33s on your stock suspension though.

Both tires will have a more aggressive look than the Yokohama Geolandar H/T tires. It just depends on what you are looking for in your next tire. The Falken Wildpeak will be a somewhat smoother tire but many people love the look of the ST/Maxx skinny look.

If we can assist you please let us know.
