That flexzilla air hose is the bees knees. I have one in every rig. It’s the only small hose that rolls up and unrolls easily and super malible that I have found. Nice write up too!

    EDIT:

One pro tip about that hose. Obviously this will be completely dependent on what compressor you have and where the fitting is. But for example, if you have the ARB twin, and you have the air coupler fitting directly attached to the compressor with no manifold or t-fittings, and you fill ten 35” tires from 12-15 psi to 35 psi back to back, you might melt the glue on the compression fitting on the hose attached to the compressor. :anonymous:

I haz Powertank CO2 as well. Definitely my go-to if time is of the essence or I need high CFM for reseating beads or power tools. But it’s not exactly convenient for me to get it refilled.

Poor man C02 Setup is where I’m at for the moment, don’t have the cool guy twin air compressor. Eventually need to get the small ARB Compressor for the front locker if I ever get it installed. Airgas is pretty cost efficient at 25 bucks on a 1 for 1 tank swap. Just don’t wanna ever run out while out wheeling

I've got the ARB twin portable. Its spendy but I've got no complaints. Picking it up on a group buy helps a lot

Airgas is where it’s at. When I lived in the Bay Area they were super responsive and a good price point. Only thing in town for me in Tahoe is Praxair and they don’t mind charging that Tahoe premium. Super lame too. It’s cheaper for them to charge me for a 20# fill than a 10# fill but still $40.
I’ve been dropping my tank off at a fire extinguisher shop for $15 but their turnaround is 1-2 weeks.

Anyone bottling near you? I use a local soda bottling company and just drop it off and they fill and call me when to pick it up. If you’ve got a food service company near you they might help as well as they fill and swap bottles and tanks for their customers. I just went in and told them that it was a CO2 tank but wasn’t for food. Used to get it free but my old neighbor doesn’t handle that anymore and is on the beer side of the business now. They charge me a buck a pound now.

Go one better and make yourself a “big 3” setup while your at it. I used the “military” connectors that have a separate attachment point for accessories so not everything ends up on the post itself.

Thank you. And yeah, I tried the local beverage companies too. Fire extinguisher place was still way more reasonable on price.

What size did you goto? I didn’t need to extend mine. I’m sure it depends on manufacturer tho too
