    Great color!

I would inquire WHY is that the first mod selected instead of something useful like sliders or skids?

I’m sure it was dealer install so they could jack the “adjusted market value “ up even more.

Ok, well, close anyway. They’re both white with CVT RTT on board.

The new TRD Pro has a factory snorkel option now for like $750.

Except it isn’t a snorkel that’s water tight, it’s only made for looks not functionality.

It doesn't connect to the airbox? Then again any snorkel isn't technically "water tight" Snorkels were originally designed to keep dust out for cleaner air intake

Just saw this truck parked on the backside of my building which I normally never go to, it could have been parking there for a long time? Spokane, WA (Fairchild AFB) where I see tons of Tacomas. Honestly I could drive around base for 5 minutes and probably take a couple dozen pics, there are so many Tacos here, stock and modded.

It connects to the air box... from what I understood from the dealer at my last service it has seams that aren’t sealed.

Well any snorkel will need additional work to fully seal it as far as I understand. Having a snorkel doesn't mean you now can ford the Big Blue River, Oregon Trail style haha

Agreed, but go check them out. They’re pretty cheesy compared to the major brands that I’ve seen. At least the one I checked out at Toyota of Gladstone looked like it would leak in the rain.
