It’s true. Most of us here are basically the same dude.

 

It’s true, just under the seat. If we really wanted to have chaos, we could just do away with all punctuation lol

 

The entire society has taken a massive Twitter shit. Thats why I have pledged-


Focus on sustaining myself first, entirely and as best I can, so that no other person has to be burdened.


Rejecting the social network as much as possible, it becomes more and more poisonous everyday. It is thought pollution.


Rejecting both conservative and liberal politics.


Focus on being objective and fair to any individual regardless of gender/age/race/sexuality, while emphasizing our national pride, individual rights and our American culture.


Rejecting the emasculation culture entirely.

 

I guess, I just use it as a way to describe an enviornment, my work environment is filled with toxic personalities, online, social media and we continue to isolate ourselves as people which doesnt help. Trying not to go down this soap box rabbit hole though lol, just saying I remember being a browser back in the day when I bought my first Tacoma and the forum enviornment was so much different here.

 

What started out as fun sure has turned sour. So many "worrywarts".

 

We have the ALL CAPS folks, the runtogethersentences folks, and folks who skipped class whenever punctuation was taught.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they all drive Ridgelines.

 

I agree as well. A light-hearted thread like this is a safe space for shitposting. People need an outlet.

 

I can barely remember what that was like. A dream within a dream.

 

God I miss Chris Farley! Love that man.

 

And some people need to stick a fork in said outlet.

That’s what happens when a small resourceful forum essentially becomes a clubhouse.

The shitbag threads with condescending and/or asshat OPs or just outlandishly absurd things I can understand. But some legitimate help threads get made and burnt to the ground shortly thereafter.

The associated Facebook groups tho are 100x worse. Everyone just wants to be a cunt.

Every last member here knows that is a tough gig. Those that think they have it easy are lying to themselves. “Human” ain’t a carefree thing to be.

Married, single, man, woman, gay, straight, right, left, black, white, east, west.........it’s a hard go, but we are disposed to make the best of a bad situation.
