What’s retail on EHT SiB??? Bottle shop up the road has one behind the glass.

And screw the San Fran Spirit Comp! Same bottle shop had an entire end isle display of McKenna bib collecting dust at $32/bottle for the past year and a half... All gone now. I knew I should’ve grabbed a few bottles after that article. It was probably my favorite sub $35 bottle, well used to be... If you can find it, I’ve heard shops are asking up to a c-note for it!

 

The TW out here moved it behind the counter (can't see it, have to know to ask) along with Angels Envy (yuk). I haven't opened my McKenna yet...

Same thing happened to the Nikka From the Barrel. Crazy prices on the secondary market. Wish I could get one of those for a reasonable price.

 

Finally found a bottle of BT for a reasonable price ($22) and a few others I've wanted to pick up!

 

Last November I believe I payed $70.. but coulda been $80, leaning towards $70

I grabbed my local store's last Nikka FTB for retail. One of the best bottles I've ever bought, is phenomenal! Haven't seen it anywhere since then..

 

Appreciate it... Guess my shop added a $10-20 tax on it. I believe they had it marked $90 or $100

 

I picked up some McKenna today for $38, didn’t seem like it was rare or coveted at Julio’s liquors. They had one EHTaylor but it was $69.99; I can’t bring myself to spend that kinda coin on a superfluous consumable at this point in life.

 

Which type of EH Taylor? I've been able to find Small Batch for $30-$40 at a few places in the area.

Think it was the rye, they had one left top shelf, right end of the bourbon aisle next to whistlepig. I got the small batch for my brother in law around $40 at wegmans in Northboro a few months ago. What’s your go-to for selection in the area? I’m on the Grafton side of Upton...

 

Just up the road from me. Liquor World in Franklin on 140 has a good selection, so does Hickey's in Milford. But I usually go to Total Wine in Natick since I work in Natick and its a quick 5 minute trip during lunch.

 

I’ll have to check out TW, the Shrewsbury one is closer for me. Wegmans usually has a decent selection and prices. I’ve seen Weller and blantons at the place next to collettes 122a in Grafton but didn’t grab it.

 

One store here I can get it for ~$80 and another has it for $115. Not sure why the difference. Both of those prices include the state's 20% liquor tax and 10% sales tax.
