It is, working on some big things at work. Just got a new PC and 2 new monitors and a new mouse I'm going to completely update my station either tomorrow or Friday.

Also generally going through some pretty huge, awesome changes at work and just trying to show the new owners I mean business ya know.

Really thinking everything going to end up great and as it should have been all along. My company kicks ass at what we do, but we about to kick all the asses now

We are installing 24 solar panels on the coop. The rest of the build will not be done for over a year, so we are temporarily setting the coop up off the grid. The Powerwall will store the electricity generated by the solar panels and supply the coop with juice. Once we finish phase one of the project we will get 6 more Powerwalls and remove the one from the coop and install them in the studio. Together they will store enough power to keep the protected circuits powered in the event power failure. They will also be able to supply the electric needs over night, free electricity, then recharge during the day. The electric company doesn’t like them because they increase the amount of electricity that the client can sell back to them.

You have to make and sell a lot of electricity to make back the $49k cost of purchase. What’s the life expectancy on them? That 49k is like 30 years of electric for me.

 

Why do chickens need a Tesla battery? Are the farmers Mr. and Mrs. Tweety? The chickens are going to eventually build a plane to escape the chicken pot pie machine lol.

 

I’m not allowed to talk about Project Chicken Drone. Where did you learn about project Death Star, I mean project Chicken Pot Pie?

30 years life expectancy for the panels is what I hear. For the size of the project we expect it to be profitable on the client side. We are pushing the documentation available. Software will be monitoring the the usage in real time and will create new data for analysis.

I guess if the usage is less than the production, and they sell a lot back it’ll be worth it. What's the cost of the solar panels?

 

Also if there is a major power outage, you could keep running and stay profitable while other operations take a loss from losing production, cold storage, etc right?
