Wilco Tiregate

I have a prerunner version for the 1st gen which is no longer avail. There's a verticle one on here for sale if I remember correctly.

No I would go for the prerunner type for sure. Thanks for the pic but I meant a pic of how it mounts to the truck. Could you snap one?

 

It mounts on the upper tailgate hinge an across the bottom. There's plenty of diagrams on the website.

 

Reviving old thread, but thinking about the Wilco prerunner tiregate for my yoter build. Not many options to save bed space with a 35” spare. Questions I have about them is do they hold up to wheeling and does that rear tire weight make a huge difference? Figure it would need some expanded metal on the frame to keep the little stuff in the bed.
