Hey guys so I am new here. I have been looking at tacomas and I have came across 2 very different ones.

One is a 95 4 cylinder 4x4 manual pickup dx short bed. They seem to be very rare. This one is in amazing shape. But had not been driven in 4 years and has been in an accident but was repaired. The inside is peferct the chairs are all in one peace it is a California car with only 108,000 miles selling for 7,200. The owner has passed away and his kid is now trying to sell it but we need to go to the dmv to get the pink slip.

The other one is a 2004 Trd pro with access cab it is a v6 4x4 manual. It has alot done to It and looks like show room quality from the pics.

    Welcome to the forum.
Both truck look great. Two totally different rigs. I would suggest you decide if you want/need a regular cab or a double cab. Take each for a test drive and see which one you like better.
I would have the stock regular cab looked at by a mechanic. That seems to be sweet deal. As with all of these rigs have the frame checked.
Good luck with your search.

Thanks it's a hard decision one is like a blank canvas that I can build up but is inherently more risky then one that is already restored. I am looking for a daily driver.

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

Personally, I wouldn't buy a modified truck. You never know what all was done to it or how sketchy the installs of all those parts were. I would have the stock truck checked by a trusted mechanic (make sure they check the frame for rust) and go from there.

    Thank you.
I have been leaning towards the red one but the pink slip issued does scare me a little. Plus since it has sat for 4 years idk what may have to be done to it.
Overall I am having a hard time finding a truck :/

Welcome to TW I agree with the comment don't buy the modified if you don't know the track record. Let you be the one that makes the modifications then you know what you have.
    Good luck!

    Welcome to TW!

Personally, I would look at a truck that is between these two. The first one is clean, though accident repair can be hit or miss.

I would avoid the second one. It's pretty modified. You have to hope that everything was done correctly or go back over their work.

It is easier to fix a stock vehicle than it is to diagnose a modified one.
