I would gladly take a landy. Had my eye out for a Troopy for a while now!

LiveWorkWander's LC gives me a woody every time.

I'd go for a GLX wagon, or a troopy retrofitted with a sliding door on one side.

Just for the record I would never give up my Taco for one

But if it were only Toyota North America mid size option I’d probably buy it.

Full front bumper sales would go through the roof if they brought these here. Even the “daily drivers” who never mod anything would be getting out the :sawzall:

The 2.8L Rugged Diesel with 6 speed MT looks pretty sweet to me. Comes with bumper. Not crazy about the plastic door base protectors, though they do look "rugged"

I think it looks no better and no worse than any other Asian truck in overseas markets.

IMO the only decent looking pickup over there at the moment is the VW Amarok
    [IMG]

But I'll wait for the Ranger Raptor Ford is supposedly developing

I’m gonna throw Hilux a bone here. The styling on this 2018 is much more muted, less garish. The front end, much less “spaceship”. Maybe it’s the 2019 refresh that killed it?

Anyways........most trucks look better on chunky tires. This vid almost wins me over. You gotta love the leaf springs squeaking through the whole vid. I guess we share that across the world.

Probably because it looks very similar to a Taco. I like that one too.

I like the flat, lean, crocodile look of the Taco, as opposed the tall, porpoise-y, bloated look of the Hilux and new Ranger.

Just not a fan of wraparound head and taillights.
headlights are making their way towards the doors and all look 'bulged out'. Ford must have *cornered the market on tail lights and reselling to others.

    edit: '97 taco....still the king.

I don't mind the look of the wrap around lights, but I don't care for the acrylic/plastic covers as they discolor and oxidize. I wish they'd go back to glass for durability.
