    Basically.

    Six full weeks? Damn.
I have to serve for 6 months, but it's just for the first Monday and Tuesday of each month. We've been there for the full day, both days, for each session, but we cover EVERY criminal case the court will hear for that month in those two days. :notsure:

Out of the six weeks, only 2 days I was there for a full day. A few days there was nothing at all, so I got to stay home. Some days, someone wouldn't show up. I basically got paid to go to court, drink a coffee, then go home lol

Yeah, Budabings was pretty good. I used to go there when I used to work in Medway. Hopefully they rebuild it

I just don't like this truck, I think it does everything like 75% as good as another truck and doesn't impress me like the hype in my head wanted it to. They didn't nail the style for me either. If they did a 2door long bed I think I'd be alot more interested.

Good to hear you guys are taking the appropriate amount of time and really getting to the bottom of stuff

    :rofl::rolleyes:

I never drank coffee until about 2-3 years ago when I quit redbull after realizing I was drinking 120lbs of sugar a year JUST from redbull:puke:. As a kid I never understood coffee, really even as a young adult. But now I love it, do 3-5 cups a day throughout day, 2 or 3 spoons of sugar, so I'm still on the sugar high, but I think I'm down more to 60lbs a year:anonymous:

    About sums up my day.
Didnt sleep for crap, woke up with headache.
Went to leave at 5, flat on the van(well, 22psi).
    Drop spare. Flat.
Crap. Used portable, cord burned up....
Went to gas station, brought it up to 80(usual for my van), and ran down here to N Kingston...
What I am going to do later, I have no idea.
I must look pissed... apprentice is sitting in his car, looking at me... and not approaching my van as usual...

All through college and up until two years ago I was having about 10 cups of coffee a day. Knew I needed to cut back so I made some changes and for the last 1 1/2 years I've been at 2 cups a day. First one when I get to work around 630AM and the second after lunch around 115PM. Saturdays I'll usually have a third around 4PM but I've been able to keep that as a 'weekend treat' mentally.

Wow! I'd be pissed if I were you, or at least heavily frustrated. Nightmare start to the day for you. Hopefully it gets better and someone runs you over a tire, maybe send that apprentice out for it!

Yeah I like to do two in the morning then one around 2pm, if I feel the sugar calling me I'll do one around 4pm too. I really have a sugar addiction more than caffeine, I don't get coffee withdrawals if I don't have coffee or sodas. Sugar is my personal heroin, I always need more and it's never enough. It runs in the family though, grandparents, uncles, nieces etc... almost everyone in my family has an issue with controling their sugar.

Most of it's pretty straight forward stuff. Shoplifting (that was caught on camera), possession of drugs (and they have the drugs as evidence), DUI's, etc. We only hear a few cases each session that actually require a lengthy background explanation.

I drink anywhere from 4-12 cups of coffee a day. Just black coffee. Thank god I like it more black than with sugar or I'd be even more huge.

I'm kinda like you, I have a sweet tooth for sure! I'm not into coffee though. A cup of Tea with a couple of sugars in it in the morning and then I switch to Coke. I try to limit it but if I'm not careful it gets out of control

When I think of Grand Jury, I guess I am picturing big complex cases. Sounds like you guys are moving at the right pace though with that type of stuff. Is it more a process of letting the DA make a bunch of plea bargins? Maine does a few things differently than I am used to with their laws/politics. I sorta like them all, but I can get mixed up sometimes.

Speaking of which, when I was there last summer Rank Voting was getting a lot of press, did that go through?

12!!! That's alot! I'd be shaky with all that I think.

I have tried to cut back on the soda, I find I get a belly quick if I start having them with any regularity. I've started buying the 8oz cans and been happier with that, I only really want that first big sip or two anyways, and that's about all they are good for. More money per oz tho, so I'm paying for someone else to give me self control.

Coffee is delicious, but only when drunk ad God intended: Black. Haven't had soda in years, some people hate it but Polar soda water is a decent substitute.

Was taught to drink it black by my old man when I was in 8th grade, never looked back. We have a soda stream at home that we use just for plain soda water and love it

Some of them cop a plea after indictment, yes. But this is more a process of reviewing the evidence to make sure the State is justified, legally, in charging somebody with a crime. In Maine you can't be indicted until the charges are reviewed by a jury of your peers (grand jury).

Especially with a splash of vodka or gin, lol.
