Rather not be lugging them around at DTOR.

True, but then I've got to make sure I got room to lug them back home is all.

 

You've got a bed rack and roof rack and I've got plenty of ratchet straps we'll make them go home with you.

 

Strap one to the hood, one to the roof, one to the top of the rtt and the other on the bottom of the bed rack! Tis doable! But nah! lol.

 

I can lace them all on the roof. I was thinking 2 on either side of the bed rack look like a tug boat

A few times ago when we were night riding, a RV towing a rock bouncer on 44s was blocking the road because the road to the trailhead was slick and he was just digging instead of moving.. The trails were trash after the bouncer rode through. I get it is a "everybody pays, everyone rides" park, but sometimes that shit sucks.

 

I haven't been to Hurricane yet, it is around 4 hours from my house and that is a lot of driving in 1 day lol. Last I heard the local residents were getting pissed from the trash and noise and making complaints.

 

On Memorial Weekend there were two guys in Heeps on Dickey Bell that were probably overbuilt for even that rough hill. One of them decided to try it in 2wd and just spun and threw rocks everywhere and made some trenches.

 

Yea it’s 6 from my house and URE is 3. I feel your pain.

 

Looking at possibly coming up to North Carolina from Alabama to see some relatives in the next few months and I’m definitely going to need a break from them. Wheeling is a good option I’d say. How often does a group go wheeling out in Uwharrie? Rather go out with a group if I can since I don’t even know where to begin out there. If not, could y’all give me some advice on trails to hit solo?

Not entirely sure yet. Still trying to figure that out. If Sunday’s are generally the day to get out there, I can make that happen.

 

I have seen that more than once out there.. I get it is fun to go and push your rig, but don't be an ass about it.

 

Ouch lol. I live 40 mins from Uwharrie. It is nice having a short drive home after a long day of wheeling!

 

The rest of us come and go randomly. If one gets a hair to go we usually can get 2 or 3 trucks to go with. Smaller groups, around 5-7 is my preferred. If you look back you can see my rantings about hordes of 20+ jeeps in multiple groups.. That just sucks.

 

I’m not a fan of large groups. I like to go wheeling, not waiting.

I’ll be sure to post up once the wife and I make plans and hopefully I can meet up with a few of y’all.
