The other day, I had my truck serviced at the local Toyota service department. Due to poor lighting, I didn’t notice my height challenged service technician did not put my seat back. I messed up my knee and lower leg pretty good on the lower part of the steering column. Just be mindful to check your seat after having vehicle serviced.

Ive never understood why techs and advisors move peoples seats and dont put them back. Is it really that hard to drive a car for 5 minutes without moving the seat.

Check your lights as well. My other Toyota has auto lights, which I just leave in the "auto" setting. Numb skulls turned it off, which I didn't realize until late at night.

I plan to leave a note on my seat when I have mine serviced. Please do not adjust seat.

I agree with previous poster... unless the driver is unusually small or large, don't adjust the owner's seat.

I find it so hard to find the perfect seating position. Once it's there I don't touch. Took it in Monday and the fuckers moved my seat I wasn't that happy but whatever.

 Sorry, but I’d really want them to adjust the seat! If its a short person, they wont be able to safely drive and stop the truck.

Also, If they hit the back wall, they’ll keep your note to show you are also responsible.

My wife never complains about the seat position to me, I always put the seat and lid down, and even wipe the rim when I’m done. :)

Seat is always adjusted on my truck and it's not that hard to put it back to where it was when I dropped it off since it's all the way back.

My dealer does this to me all the time, super frustrating.

Or why 3 pedal challenged people automatically think running the seat all the way up will make it easier somehow.

I remember one time the service advisor got in to check the miles and adjusted the seat to do so (makes sense right?). Bastard jerked the seat back so hard I could hear the adjustment gears grinding. It was cringeworthy...

It really must suck if the tech also adjusts the mirrors and doesn't put them back.
Or, if they test drive it and don't replace the gas they burned up

I guess this would be a good argument for power seats with memory.
