    Just have a fiberglass cap.
Previous owner used the truck for his painting business. The sides were pulled out a bit. Just wanted to keep it from getting worse

Right on! Probably a good precaution. I'm adding a bed rack and RTT to mine so I might consider getting those brackets as well just to be safe...especially on the trail.

Just bought the Rci LCA skids for my 2nd gen tacoma Off-road. I bought them from runnin 4 tacos the total with shipping came out to be 131 with the RCI discount they did and my law enforcement discount. I do have the stock skid plate so i was worried they would fit and i was correct. IT was a very simple fix though. Remove the skid plate and the thin metal sheet under the skid bend the corners in with some pliers and thats all it took. It took a little longer then expected but it worked without any cutting and it looks good.

    Nice.
I have the same; I painted them in Pyrite mica to match the truck.
    And I really bolted them.

I turn them until snug and they don’t face the correct way. If I back them off they are loose.

I’ve got a camper shell with a roof rack and often have kayaks, my hi lift, other assorted shit on it in tubs, and stand on the roof rack damn often. I installed the Total Chaos stiffeners and really feel like them. It seems worth the modest investment to protect the truck from bed separation.

Same here, makes a great (but God awful loud) height gauge. I also used a label maker & put a sticker on the dash gauge assembly that says "Height: 6'4"
