    I wouldn't mind a 1UZ-FE in my tacoma.

I’m sure the one in the video is pushing a lot more. That being said it would still be better than this 2GR in the 3rd gen....

    Well except the MPG

I'm good with the power in the 2GR. Enough power to haul my entire family and cargo, crawl up and over obstacles at 12k feet. Yeah, I'm good.

Maybe they can produce a supercharger for you folks needing more power.

A twin turbo 2JZ would be a badass swap into a tacoma. Would probably be hard to fit in the engine bay because of how long it is though

Nah, what you actually want is a Cat 3506. That will get rid of that low end torque issue you are having.

The BASE model does. But there are twin turbo variants pushing 1000+

Velocity stacks look cool and sound cool, close the hood and it’s a heat soak galore

Why stop there. As far as I'm concerned only a Wartsila RT-flex96c will do. Sumo springs can handle the extra few pounds easy peasy. Just don't expect your TSS recall to be cheerfully done though.

I'd steer clear of the Shitsilas personally, I like the old RNDs, they were built like brick shithouses. The newer stuff seems like they're trying to get too much out of them and you wind up with conrods on the deckplates through newly ventilated crankcases.
