Any reason not to consider the TRD Pro wheels?

In my subjective opinion I happen to think the OEM TRD PRO wheels are the best looking "aftermarket" wheels, better than the 4 Runner pro wheels everyone has. Plus they are 16" which means you can go with a 265/75/R16 which is the best all around tire size; again in my subjective opinion. The 1" overall wider track is also a nice feature of the increased offset.

A lot of people have them because they look good. Get what you like and don't go by the logic that "everyone has them them so i cant get them". If you go by that logic, you might as well have bought a ridgeline lol... no one has those.

Tacoma TRD Pro wheels are wider and are only available in 16”.

4Runner TRD Pro wheels are .5” narrower than the Tacoma TRD wheels and are only available in 17”.

If you have a valid VIN and a sales rep that’ll work with you, you can get the 6-lug rock warrior wheels in 17”, but they’re even more expensive and incredibly hard to get.

I have 2nd Gen Grey Baja Beadlock wheels. I love them because if you ruin one of the rings, they come off and you can replace them and you’re back to looking new again.

Or... maybe the original Pro wheels will get a little cheaper once these come out?

I disagree. With a proper coating they look good all the time and stay clean. You're not able to do that with a matte wheel. My matte wheels on my 2nd gen became impossible to clean after 4-5 years.

Here's my pro wheel properly coated. Dust doesn't stick very well.

I like the idea of the 2020 headlight, but damn, the Pro version is just dumb. So, that means that everyone else will be sporting them.

I am interested to see which models get which lights, esp the LEDs.
