Bed Drain?

So, we have been getting an enormous amount of rain lately, and the bed of my Tacoma is just filling with water when it isn't driven.

Are there really no bed drains in this thing? I've looked, thinking maybe they were clogged with a leaf or something, but I'm not seeing any.

And yes, I know it would be simple to drill a couple of small holes in the plastic, but am I to believe they really didn't design them in at the factory?

 

There are two pencil sized holes in the front and water also drains from the tailgate gap. If your truck is parked angled forward, see if the two drain holes are clogged.

I do park with the front tilted down... backed into the driveway.

Just wanna know where the drains are. I've looked but don't see them. I'm aware that pulling in would work, but that doesn't unclog the drains.

Right front and left front corners of the bed near the cab.... about 6 inches from the side and 1 inch from the front wall.
If I am not mistaken, there is one in the center of those 2 also.

Thanks. When it stops raining, I'll look in those locations a bit closer, as that is where I assumed they would be and where I looked the first time. May be clogged with something about the color of the bed.

I had forgotten how may azzholes there are on this site.

 

Poke around with a paper clip after wiping away debris on top of it.

 

If you are drilling on the front of the bed be careful with what's underneath, people drilling out the driver side front drain hole sometimes hit the gas filler neck as it's real close to the bed.

 

3 holes. You really can't miss them.

I'm thinking a q tip shouldn't do any damage to anything. I'm assuming there are no hoses or such on the underside.

Thanks for the pic. Clearly I have missed them. Pulled the bed mat back and looked pretty close, running my hand around those areas feeling for them & still didn't locate them.

I was just mentioning the drilling as people do it when putting on bed covers, and it's a common issue so,
when someone mentioned drill, I belt it out there so the next time someone reads it
hopefully they remember when they do a bed cover, LOL

 

I increase the holes on mine when I put in the bed mad so it drains betterI went to a 3/8" hole
