Has anyone fused their winch connection to battery? There seems to be people on both sides of the question.

Mine isn't. And I don't recall Smittybilt saying it needed to be done. It couldn't hurt I suppose. It would surely be insurance against blowing the vehicle's main fuse. If that happened you'd be royally screwed.

How About the ad? Plenty of photos there! I am working with a deal on trading for a speed triple and some gear for it though.

Put the truck to work today ripping out some shrubs and hauling mulch. "Welcome home babe... Here's your honey to do list."

And didn't think about needing to be able to haul them off after ripping them out so now they are sitting on the other side of the driveway. I'm sure she'll love that.

I'm of the view of keeping it simple. If I'm out on the trail, I want as few things with the potential to go wrong. I visual inspection of the + wire is good enough for me.

Yeah on base they have some nice ones on story back away from everything. Also have little cabins with decent setups and close to beach. Thanks for the heads up. Don't mind the walk but might bring the other car to cruise around and check out some stuff and leave truck at base camp.

The internal limiter in the passenger strut let go like the drivers strut did before.

I dont know why i have so many issues that no one else does. I guess I'll be selling some toytec ultimates with new 5100s

Didn't want to assume. I'll mark that down as a strong yes.
