Call me a weirdo, but I think the Prius V is so cool. It's a wagon that gets 40+ mpg!

My tastes generally lean toward fast import cars, but I do love me a good Prius wagon.

I think they're great vehicles in terms of reliability, and I actually like the Prius V, especially in terms of styling. However, the Prius is a bit lacking in the power department across the board. The environmental impact of manufacturing a Prius is far greater than, say, that of a Tacoma or Tundra...

Not to mention that the typical Prius owner is a leftist treehugger, and the vast majority of people driving them drive like dicks.

Similar, but different. I mention nothing of mirrors, seat adjustments or make-up application.
You on the other hand mention nothing of texting. :boink:

People who seem genetically predisposed to be dickheads...

Back in September 2018, I drove to Raceway Park in New Jersey for a diesel truck show. While on the Jersey Turnpike, my tire pressure light started flashing.

Worried I’d picked up a nail or something, I pulled over as soon as I got off the highway, looked up the nearest garage, and got the okay from the owner to bring my truck in. The owner told me over the phone to just pull up under the covered area next to the gas pumps.

Anybody who’s lived in or just driven through New Jersey knows that mere mortals are not allowed to pump their own gas.

I pulled up to this mom-and-pop service station and there was this Indian guy who appeared less than friendly sitting to the gas pumps. He eyes me the entire time I pull up, and as soon as I get out of my truck, he rudely barks at me “Hey Buddy! You can’t park here!”

Luckily, the gas station owner stepped in before I had to say anything and told the unpleasant pump jockey that he said I could park there and he begrudgingly left me alone.

Turns out my TPMS sensor was giving a false positive, but anyway...

Don’t you hate people like that?!?!

I can’t stand people who throw their trash out of their car window onto the side of the road. I equate that type of person to the bottom of the barrel of humanity, and I am no tree huger type either. You must be laziest of them all or maybe just too stupid to hold on to your trash until you can place it in a proper receptacle. There is no excuse, trash cans are everywhere you stop pretty much, whether a shopping mall or gas station, or what’s that? Maybe your home trash can.. I have to pick up this garbage constantly, and see it all over the roads everywhere I go, all because some lazy prick can’t wait till they get where they are going to throw their crap away..

In all my years of driving out here in CA. I have never seen someone throw their trash out the window. In CA, it's an instant $1000.00 fine, no questions asked.

Last night power had gone out on a main road with 3 lanes each way and a single lane cross road. Main road is flashing yellow and cross road is flashing red. It's a full 1/4 ahead of me and I can see most of the traffic on main road slowing and continuing on as is proper. Instead of following the rulles several drivers coming to a complete stop clueless.

We had the same problem here right after Hurricane Michael...the rule is... when the light is COMPLETELY INOPERATIVE... the intersection functions as a 4-way stop.

But... when it is flashing... you go by what the light instructs:

Flashing yellow: right of way... proceed with caution.

    Flashing red: stop.

I had an incident driving a roll off truck where I was on a highway where the speed limit is 55 and coming up on a flashing yellow this guy goes from speed limit to dead stop right in front of me. I locked them up and had to bail on the shoulder... the traffic behind me went all over the place and the guy looked at all of us like we were complete retards...

I wanted to run him off the road and smack the smirk right off his face.:annoyed:

Had a weird one yesterday. Heading home on this curvy road, I hear an ambulance, no place to pull over hardly. I spot a road inlet and pull in the best I can with my camper and boat. And the Ambulance pulls in behind me! I sat there for about a min as hes sitting there with his lights on. So I move up the road and then he hits the siren again and passes me in a no passing zone, when he could have easily passed me when I was pulled over to the side.:notsure:

Add to that, I put tail light darkening lenses right up there with lights off.. Those seem incredibly stupid.

If we are being honest, Panama Shitty didn't have the best drivers before the storm.... 98 was basically a joke trying to get anywhere and when I took my rat rod out, it was a crapshoot if I was going to get run over.
