Those are awesome. Pricey but worth it, IMO. I built dual mounts for two of those on a customer's over Softopper bedrack (which I also made).

I think the hardware and cut pieces make it worth it, small details that stand out over the mounts I’ve had in the past

You got any photos of your mount? I bought two and debating of mounting the second on the truck or putting it on the daily

2.5 inch lift, 265/75/16s Smittybilt awning. Custom Bed Stereo. Rear View camera. Light bar forward and backwards. Front cooler rack. Leds front and under steps. Garmin off road gps. Garmin one road GPS . Two different units. CB, Roof Rack with custom Tent mounts. Traction Boards. Bliston Shocks.
Fixing it up as a beach buggy. Added the top roof rack. Those 1 1/4 in inch polls have 1 inch inside of them. They slide out and connect to our 10x10 tent. Zip tie them on the beach they ain't going any where just have to tie the other two down. Wood on the top is going to be my rod rack. I don't care for the rods sticking 13 foot in the air. Never impressed me so fixed it where they can lay down and point forward. Rear view camera, and have to mount the rear pointed Light bar tomorrow. Starting on the inside the camper top tomorrow . Rain all weekend think it might be finished by Sunday.

    I wouldn't consider a relocation. More like a spacer.

    Any thoughts

Probably because you stripped them by over tightening them? Throw some loctite in there, lube them up to be sure the bushings take the grease and call it good?

Did this yesterday. As well as changed the oil, rear diff, and t-case oil. Today I made some different brackets for the rock lights at the back of the cab/in front of the rear tires. We'll see how the spill is now. Ordered a set of 4 more to add to it.

I didn't over tighten them. They are not stripped.
I had to tap the holes because of the powder coat. I couldn't even start the threads, and yes I used the right size tap.

    Yes Sorry,
The Second Pic has the Total Chaos plates welded in (accidentally posted it second instead of last).
