I used to drink soda like crazy. Like maybe a whole case of 12oz cans a day! Now, I might have a 20oz bottle once a week. After I quit drinking so much soda, I started drinking more coffee. Depending on who's coffee I'm drinking, I might get it "regular", or just a small amount of cream and sugar.

Anyone keep getting robocalls pretending to be Verizon? Started getting them a couple months ago. At first, they were spoofing Verizon's customer service number. They've spoofed other numbers too. Today, they actually called me with my own number!

I even got 'upgraded' to a smart phone by the GF a few years ago and I still mostly use it for calls. I've only got 500mb of data, and I've never used it all

I only answer number I know. Every time I screw up and answer one I don’t know, the calls increase 10 fold for a few days.

I cannot win this week with side projects.

The roll bar came out very meh. The bar was polished stainless and all the research I read said etching primer was the way to go. I tried scuffing with a Scotch Brite pad to see if I could get any sort of key on the bar and it did nothing. Thinking the etching primer was enough, I let it set up per the can's instructions before top-coating with Rustoleum bedliner since I had great luck with that paint on my 93's roll bar. The paint came out super runny, and anywhere I tried to blot the drips thinking the texture would hide it and all that manged to do was smear right through the GD primer.

About 2 hours after I finished painting I was test fitting my lights and naturally they won't fit since the light mount is lower than the tubes and the stud on the lamps is offset. I'll need a longer bolt and spacers to raise up the lamp. However, the act of the lamp just touching the bar was enough to expose the stainless below. Rustoleum's instructions say the coating doesn't fully harden / cure for 72 hours, so I'm hoping that once the coating fully cures it won't chip as easily. I'm not using the bar as anything but a glorified light mount (yeah yeah) but it's disheartening to see. I should have bit the bullet earlier and bought the black bar before it went out of production. The company makes a universal bar that mounts the same way, but I don't know if the mounts would be correct for the truck.

I'm going to see how sturdy the coating is and worst case I'm assuming I can Plastidip it, right?

So, with that frustration, I shifted gears and started work on my fuse panel. I had a member-made panel on my 2013 which was fantastic. I went with the Pelfreybilt one since they were the only one at the time (this is a few years ago now) that had a MT one. They used the Blue Sea panel mount breakers with the lugs underneath. Naturally I mounted everything upside down (because of course I did). But the routing of the 4 AWG wire just looks like poo.

I just really dislike how bent that wire is. I torn between flipping the circuit breaker upside down to expose the lugs and not have to bend the wire through the panel, or moving the breaker over to the other spot to allow for a less crazy bend. Bah.

    /rant. Thanks for listening.
