    Livin the good life.
On my work days that I don't go in the next day, I come out here and chill. Sometimes someone will stop by and visit, sometimes nah. Either way, my feet are propped up.

Sounds like you have things figured out. Good for you. Having quiet time like that is good for the soul.
They have me working Friday and Saturday this week. Suck. Oh well, I suppose I did agree to it...

Oh well, a little extra cash in the pocket.
I work every other weekend. It's not that bad.

Poor bastards. About a month ago my crew switched to summer schedule. Four 10's then three days off. It's great except for the four 10's part. lol

I usually will work for Comp Time when I go in on a day off. But it's hard to not get paid out cash.
    First world problems I suppose.

Yeah, 4-10's are great. I've been working that shift for several years now. I hope it doesn't change...

Tried that, the grommet doesn’t budge at all. I’m running a cable for a siren but it’s a bit too short if I go through the driver side. Perfect if I go through the passenger side

Agreed. I try to stack up some comp time then work for cash around the holidays.

    What size cable?
I've run a few wires, but they have all gone through the big driver's grommet.

Everyone has me beat for days off. I swing a hammer and have zero PTO. My wife has 3 weeks paid vacation, 5 sick days, 5 personal days, 5 admin days, and about 12 paid holidays. My only solace is I make twice as much as she does. lol

Every 14 days, I work 7 of them. So I work half the year. Plus 200 hours personal/vacation time which I hoard for hunting.
