Hi.. none single problem, before deciding to use the hitch to hold the winch, I read a lot about it.. the hitch is bolt on into the frame where the tow hooks usually are installed and where the front witch curt
#31013 is designed also to be installed, I was also worry about the hitch pin being the weakest point, but there are a bunch of users using the winch through a hitch receiver winch mounting plate, even guys with heavy duty trucks have it without issues, there were some technical articles, describing that due the diameter and short distance of the pin into the hitch, it is NOT the weakest point, it is more probable that other components (the mounting base/winch) fails before that the pin bends. about the seat covers, yes i sent them to an upholstery place,

@Gamaliel Thanks for the reply, good info to know, I had also wondered about where it bolts into the frame, and that's why I always ask someone who's already been there and done that, before I jump in with both feet. TW users are always spot on with their information.

@CrippledOldMan the following picture was in the process to adjust/weld the parts.. but you can see the main two bolts that pass trough the tow hook and the steel that will be welded to the receiver hitch .. Also I put a bolt in the front where the crash bar should be (this is just for reinforcement but the first two under bolts attached to the frame are the main ones for strength).. Also recently I bought a 1" steel to weld them on into the rear hitch for recovery points, they will be useful when the winch is installed in the rear hitch and with help of a snatch block, the truck will be able to recover itself (snatch block to don't stress the winch unnecessarily ) Regards,
