Exactly we weren't clogging up this thread with tons of responses it was a few GREAT responses to a willing to buy ad looking for a roof top tent. Not just bs'ing about nothing. It also provide other people with a great option of finding an inexpensive rooftop tent if they were also looking for one.

Asking for a friend, How big of tire can I stuff in a Stock Tacoma. Someone told me >40s you need to trim something a bit!

With stock height I put on 265/70/17, which is 32". They look great but rub like shit. The rubbing has resulted in me looking into lifts. Sure is a slippery slope around these Tacomas.

 

Rubbing from width or height?

 

Width. I just liked to think that a lift would do away with it. Cognitive dissonance? Slippery slope?
