Eibach pro lift kit

I actually bought a 3 degree shim but we forgot to put them in. No vibration issues to this point.

 

2WD set on lowest clip and 1” rear block.
I was gonna move clip to middle setting to raise the front more but I’ll just leave it as is.
My tires already look too small.

 

Need an inch more in the back...

The swaybar relocation pieces came with my kit with an Eibach part number on it. In fact, I got two sets with my kit. It's just a metal bar about 1" thick.

Front is set on the 2nd notch for the additional weight up front (streamline bumper @ 65lbs, winch @ 65lbs, skid trio @ 135lb), and 3 leaf AAL in the rear w/the overload left in place.

Still sitting at 2" lift all around. Rides very smooth even with all the weight.

 

After about 5,000 miles with this kit paired with Icon 1.5” 3AAL, I’m completely happy with the kit. The ride is great and softened up over time, handles the same if not better than stock on the road and through turns. I don’t do any serious off roading so I can’t comment on that, but it handles great on the beach and dirt roads. I’ve inspected the shocks and have no signs of any damage (leaking, contact scratches, bends). I’ll likely go up to the top notch, get some UCA’s and either go with a new leaf pack or a 1” block to fit in some 35s eventually. For the price of this kit compared to others, I’m not sure why it’s not more of a popular option.

Hey all, quick question regarding this kit. I ordered this Eibach kit, and then also ordered the OME Dakar medium duty leaf packs w/ Bushings/ubolts/cb drop from Headstrong.

My question is, w/ the Eibach lift here, do we need aftermarket UCAs? I've seen some posts saying you do, and some people saying they've been able to get proper alignment w/ OEM UCAs.
(If it matters: 3rd gen TRD Sport DCSB / putting on 16" SCS F5's -25 3.5bs wrapped in 285/75/16 BFG KO2s)

I've also seen some posts where people get extended rear brake lines, and then some don't. Do we need those, or is that only for long travel kits?

 

Nope, here’s mine with eibach’s up front, stock uca’s paired w/ med Dakar’s... at 20k it still rides excellent and didn’t settle like the OME’s I had on my previous Tacoma. I’d highly recommend this lift!

 

Nice, looks good man! That's good to hear, saves a few hundred not having to get new UCAs. Did you do have any vibration / end up having to do the cb drop? And any any rubbing w/ your tires? (size specs?)

 

I did do the cb and dif drop, rear leaf shims, my wheels are 16x8 Konig’s 4.5 bs and zero offset with 265/75/16’s with no rubbing. Before my next set of tires I’ll be doing a cmc to replace the 265’s w/ 285’s as I anticipate slight rubbing while flexing.

 

I have 16x8 w/0 offset (aka 4.5" BS) with 285/75/16, and I don't rub anywhere. You probably won't need a CMC.

Would be cool to not need it. There's a guy that does CMCs locally for a hell of a deal + plates included, but if I can avoid it, I'm down with that. Saves money for the next mod, haha

 

where is the best place to order this lift? I'm in for one.

 

We're currently out of stock, but Toytec probably has them. Could try shock warehouse too.
