Weather is amazing this weekend. Not crazy hot yet. Took my pup on a hike at Drinking Horse Mountain Trail late this morning. Several folks commented on either how happy she was or how good looking she was. :D

Great weekend to be up in the mountains. Still a “little” snow in the beartooths. Hike to Mystic lake had some interesting moments with ice and snow. Lake was still frozen so no fishing for me. Dogs had a blast though!BCF60EFE-9459-4499-833E-FBBE0370A3DB.jpg2C45F255-949C-4EB7-91A1-21D027160031.jpg

man run off just hasn't even started really yet. Yellowstone is already freaking full too.

Glad I went to the Pryor area. Was sunny and hot even. No snow where we were!

I’m at my wits end with the stupid front differential drain plug on my truck. Damn thing will not come off. Initially stripped out the hex fitting, and have been wailing on it all morning with a hammer and chisel after soaking it in penetrating oil. At this point I feel my only option is either drilling it out (which I’m still scared of not getting it out after doing so) or welding a nut on there and using a breaker bar.
Anyone in the Billings area willing to do a little welding for me? I’ll bring the beer.

I had to weld a nut on one of mine.

basically means you should pull it to get to it. You have to fill the plug then weld the nut on.

Wish I had a shop or i'd say come on over.

After lots of heat, more banging and more chiseling into the night yesterday with no success I gave in. Called up silent knight exhaust here in Billings this morning to weld a nut on. $10 and 5 minutes later the thing came off with ease. Frickin A shoulda just done it in the first place.

Not cool. I got pretty excited there for a moment.

Joking aside. Silent Knight is the place to go.
