    Thx, they are meant to keep your tailgate from slipping off, has nothing to do with your lock

    I'm located not too far from Sacramento if you need additional testers, Otherwise i'm interested in getting one of these.

    Looks like a good cheaper alternative to something like the SaBellCo tailgate lock.

    Exact same concept, wraps around the hinge point preventing it from lifting out. Except its a removable lock.

    Same price for the 3rd gen?

    Well, they are pretty easy to steal. With the electronics in them,they are expensive a shady body shop will pay 3 or 4 hundred for them. Easy money.
