I just finished up a temporary wiring solution for my light bar. I ordered the wrong connector for the fogs so I have to wait to get those powered up. EC5A4949-B5BE-4839-9741-A1BEF865DA00.jpgDAD61884-E373-4402-B99A-FF3731747A49.jpg

I think that once my drifter gets sorted I'm going to start looking at getting a bike. It ticks most of the boxes for an around town vehicle and would be way cheaper to maintain than a second car (I think). Right now I'm looking at a Honda CB500x or a BMW G310 GS both are around 5k new and can be modded to be more serious adventure bikes.

Those look like nice bikes. Something like this would be nice to ride to work on and save some money on gas.

I could park it in the bedroom and drive it down my hall to my office.

Yeah same here. There's a company called Rally Raid that has both bikes tricked out and a bunch of comparison videos of the two. Consensus seems to be that the BMW is more of a 50/50 on/off road and the Honda is more 70/30.

Then I know which one I would get, The BMW since it is more a 50/50.

This is a great review of the BMW. She essentially says she loves it but prefers the Honda. Another reason to consider the Honda is that it would probably be way easier to get parts if something went wrong.

Also I think the BMW would require less modding to get up to snuff than the Honda.

Plus Germans start wars. You really want that emblem? White propeller on a blue sky shooting down our pilots.

Japan joins in wars too. There’s no good choice here

    Haha both look pretty rad

Subscribing to the B/S nature of this thread, I’ve been watching a ton of paramotor videos and I think it would be awesome to incorporate elements of off roading and paramotors. Similar to hauling a dirt bike off road, just flying.

Like it would be awesome to do a day in Death Valley and go flying after dinner during sunset. One could build some sort of rack to haul the motor so that you can truly off road and still bring the gear.

This guy makes good videos, about 2 mins in he takes off.

Dude my ex's dad almost had me convinced that we were going to get some of these. Sadly they are a big no no in National Parks.

Honestly dude I'm just in the excited shopping phase. It probably won't go past that but it's fun to research new stuff.
