I've done a handful like this. But unfortunately no more custom orders. #1 customer is never happy #2 kills production time

Gotcha that's what I was figuring. I will say never have I been in a situation where winching or getting pulled from the front it would of been better or easier to do so from the rear. Unless you are going on some serious expeditions solo there will usually be someone behind you where you could get pulled backwards. Never have I seen a situation where getting pulled out of a situation from the rear was the best way. As well what if you end up in a situation where you couldn't put the winch in the front receiver because of ground clearance issues and need a winch where it being tucked into the bumper it's always there. Just think through all the scenarios possible. I don't see having a moveable winch on a cradle is a good thing for offroading maybe other circumstances like being a recovery person like as far as you stay on the Hwy and recover people that went off the road. Or farm chores or stuff along those lines.

This customer is pretty damn happy with all the custom stuff you have done for him !! I know I come off as grumpy sometimes but I love my fucking truck and it has SOS written all over it. Keep fighting the fight Eddy. You can never make everybody happy so might as well make yourself happy.

Thanks again for all you have done! You saved me from a full set of all pro armor a few years back.:anonymous:

You can always pull yourself backwards from the front winch with a few snatchblocks and some creative cable routing.

He doesn't have a shop full of fab guys to put on a custom project so it takes away from everything else. Then if you charge what custom work would be worth 99% of people would probably shy away. It's a tight rope you have to walk.

@SOS CONCEPTS is there a cut template for the hybrid.... since I’m buying with or without the GB and prepping 35’s I might as well get a head start.... or is it a straight line from just above the dogs and call it good?!

You're going to be inebriated when you cut anyways so why even worry with a template.
