    Well the truck runs great. My only concern is that it's running hotter than normal and if anything the URD 170°F thermostat should be just that right? It used to run 184-186°F and now it's going into the 190°F's

    It just means it opens the flow at 170° not your engine runs at 170°

    Weird. I would expect the engine to run cooler or the same, not hotter. I've read about it running hotter because it's installed in the wrong position.

    Could be. Should run the same, or cooler. The temperature rating just means that's when the thermostat opens flow to the radiator
