    My battery arrived yesterday! Thanks @mike4089 @ramonortiz55 !

    Two questions on the battery though:

    1)
    Northstar FAQ states …we have set charging the charging parameters of between 14.1 volts and 14.8 volts as an acceptable charging range.
    but the sticker on the battery states:

    Are the FAQ on the website and the sticker referring to the same thing?     It seems to me that the sticker on the battery is talking about a standalone charger, not in-use when installed in the vehicle.


    2) How can I tell when my battery was manufactured? I don't see any markings with a clear date and assume it is encoded into the serial number or something...

    What they are refering to is a charger that wont stay on constantly. The noco and many other quality AGM chargers, will charge the battery at the higher voltage, and then regulate the voltage down to 13.5-13.8. If your out using the battery outside of daily driving...winching, lights, camping, etc....its good to charge the battery with an actual battery charger. Your alternator is not a charger and cant be relied on when it comes to using the battery.

    How about the second question, @mike4089 - how can I decode my sticker to see when the manufacture date is? The two "type" decoders I found don't seem to apply to this new "version", unless this batter was manufactured in the year `82` and `883` "Three-digit Julian calendar date".

    I ended up calling Northstar North America to be informed when my battery was manufactured (May 2019).
