    Parent’s Tesla. Haha.

I’d need to sell 351 sets of horns to afford that car.

    Same here, absolutely bizarre.

It looks like they just mix whatever coolant drains from the cars they get in. They’re all seemingly different shades of green or brown.

That's not too many all things considered.

I'm thinking of putting a group buy feeler out for my hidden light bar mounts for some extra dough. @JKO1998

Hey any tips for keeping an eye on junkyard inventories? We are looking for a few things (tailgate namely) and haven't found a good tool for it. Not to mention it seems like San Diego yards never get Tacomas in.

That's probably what you get when you ask for a coolant flush at the Jiffy Lube around the corner from the yard

Not at all. If I can get a manufacturer and push these out more rapidly, it would completely change the business model and I can start selling to people besides Tacoma owners.

I’d love to sell on other forums and on my own website, but I can barely keep up with the demand of TacomaWorld.

Someone else sells a hidden light mount here, but only for 01-04 round lights.

That's any yard anywhere. Tacos are stripped to the frames within a few days of getting put on the yard.

I used to strip Tacomas and 4Runners before I did the horns and sell parts on eBay, Craigslist, on here, etc.

In those dozens of trucks I’ve parted out, I have yet to find a good condition tailgate.

    What parts do you need?

I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve heard stories of them draining the transmission pan and overfilling the engine oil.

These would be for 01-04 only too. Not sure what the lower valence slot looks like in the earlier models, or if the differing sizes of frame horns would make a difference.

Namely the tailgate =/, then still toying with the idea of PreRunner -> 4x4 so all of that nonsense.

Also trying to find some 2015+ STIs for a few parts for the WRX (interior trim/seats/brake calipers). And a 2014+ Mazda 3 hatchback (rear trim piece)

98-00 is roomy under the valence. You couldn’t sell to 95-97 because the bumper is almost flush against the crash bar.

Cars newer than 2005 I wouldn’t bother with self service junkyards. Any vehicle with value gets sent to auction, rebuilt, or sent to a speciality scrapyard.

All the vehicles you see at self service yards are either donated, crashed/totaled cars, or the cars no one wanted to buy at auction.

www.car-part.com will be your best friend. Nissan quoted my friend $800 to change the passenger side mirror and paint it with R&I labor cost on his 2015 Nissan 370Z. I ordered one from a junkyard in Texas off car-part for $60.

Ill let you know if I decide to do it. Probably looking at $40 a set. They'll mount similarly to my aluminum set I posted yesterday, only they'll be made of steel and will push the light bar closer to the opening in the valence. Still working on a design right now though.

Cool little junkyard. They break their sections down by car, not make. There was an entire section of solely W210 Era Mercedes sedans. And another row for Toyota trucks, Ford Rangers, etc.

Unfortunately, those earlier tacos are hard to come by in my area, as they were mostly bought back and crushed, so I don't really have access to one to use as a test dummy.
