Haha that’s where I like it. Mostly just the bleeding a lot. I remember a few years ago Cedric Gracia crashed and started bleeding like crazy from his groin (or around there). luckily he was with a friend that applied pressure within seconds otherwise he might not have been so lucky. Int he wilderness first aid class I took they focus on assessing situations and potential head/neck injuries (which are important) then broken bones. Not so much on bleeding. Now I know tourniquets and packing wounds but not from the class.

Anyone have any recommendations for a quality bike repair stand for cheap (as in <$75)?

Not wanting a display/floor/wheel stand but one I can clamp the seat post or top tube to. Like below.

I actually picked it up brand new and uncut from my LBS for $400, I couldn’t say no to it. It’s noisier than my old Rockshox and the DVO diamond on my full suspension bike, but overall it’s great sofar. I notice the sound of rushing air as it articulates but it’s smooth and responsive, and no flex noticed.

Foundation brand, get it from Jenson USA. It’s their house brand and goes on sale often.

It’s nice man. I picked one up because I was sick of working around not having one. It’s a great investment and you’ll never know how you got by without one. It has a great build quality, and lots of adjustments to get things right where you want them.

My only gripe is that it’s not super tall. If I’m working on dialing on my drive train, I have to hunch over a bit because it won’t go any higher. But still, it’s easier than working on the bike upside down or something.

Yea -- I am about to build a little "bike shop" in my garage and I was thinking of just doing a wall mount pretty high up haha.

Haha that works too! But the stand is nice because you can work all the way around the bike, mostly. Up against a wall takes up wall space and you are up against a wall so it limits some things. I was on the fence too but I ended up with that rack and I have no regerts

Finally got to use my Kuat Pivot for my Kuat NV last weekend. It's awesome for camping, gets the bikes outta the way so you can get in your truck easily. Love it, great purchase.

First lift service day in a foreign country.
Rode in Sinaia, Romania. What a freaking beautiful place. Just amazing.
They have three runs there, though I only rode two. Got 9 laps in, about 15 miles total.
Trails there are super challenging. Crazy slippery mud, wet interlaced and off camber roots, steep as hell, chunky and some sweet step ups and tables.
Didn’t take too many pics, but it was a blast.

Looking to get a 1up bike rack....just the Quick Rack single. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 1.25” to 2” converter. Is this a reasonable converter and does it wobble at all when using the converter? Or would it be better to just get the Super Duty 2”. Would rather save the $50 bucks if the converter works well. Thanks in advance.

I have both the 2” rack for my wife’s SUV and the 1.25 single for my GTI. Sometimes I use the 1.25 with the converter when it’s just me and my want to drive my Tacoma. The 1.25 with the converter is solid as a rock it does not wobble at all. In my opinion the 1up is the best rack for on the market it’s very light and easy to take on and off the vehicle and it folds up for easy storage.
