I second the ST Maxx. I have 255/70/17's. No rubbing, low noise, c rated for durability but not too heavy, good in rain and off road, aggressive styling

So much misinformation out there. I just read through these posts and wonder. First, you need to decide what you will be doing to the truck, lift etc.. Secondly, don't be afraid of a quality MT or Hybrid tire. As long as you rotate every 5000 miles and proper inflation you should get long life from the tires. Be prepared for a sizable hit on the MPG. I went from 22-23 on my 2014 to 17 with Nitto Trail Grapplers. I must say the tires have been great and I have 70,000 miles on them now with just under 50% tread left. My 2008 Tundra has the Nitto Ridge Grapplers that are very good tires. They also have about 15,000 miles on them with less than 1/8 tread loss.

I built trucks with the tires designed to go with the lift, clearances, etc.. Everything should be decided on longevity and practicality. Be patient and review your choices. Money should be the last decider.

what exactly will an aggressive tire do for you if your truck is a daily driver, either you have more money than you need or you haven't really thought out what your trying to do

BFG KM2 255/85r16 Bilstein 5100s OME 888, HD Dakar’s, JBA control arms, BAMF Shackle hangers and shackle.
DD with a more aggressive look -cooper AT3 XLT has the aggressive looking sidewall with a fantastic DD tread. Fallen widlpeaks AT3w are fantastic tires as well that I have previously had and will recommend to the DD looking for something more aggressive that wants to do some off-roading. 265/75r16 is a great tire size for these trucks. Common easy to find, easy to fit a full size spare. I currently have 255/85r16s BFG mud terrain KM2. Really aggressive looking tire. Love them OffRoad hate them on the road going any faster then 60mph. Just to loud. If I did it over again I would have gone with the ST MAXX in 255/85r16. Good luck picking out new tires
