I’m wondering if anyone on TW runs in two gun or three gun matches. If so let’s see what your running. Lately we have had two matches pop up with two gun near me making three separate match options. Furthest away is about an hour and that’s the inrange one at Pima Pistol. Been running armored lately with a aero precision ar done up by robar and a steyr pistol with some robar love as well. Use to use a 4x power until I realized a 1x does the job. What are you guys using and what works? What hasn’t? So far the bane is mostly pistol spinners and the place I make up my time the most is the kettle bell throw.

Sounds fun, but it easily gets crazy expensive and time consuming.

I stick to USPSA and run a Glock identical to my duty pistol... keeps me sharp with the tool I'm 99.999% most likely to use (vs. a long gun).

But enjoy it, you'll be a well rounded shooter!

Kinda like anything It can be. All you really need is a pistol and a rifle as well as some gear to hold it and your ammo. People can come out with a iron sighted ar, glock 19, belt with holster and 2 pistol mags/2 rifle mags. They just reload mags between stages. Like anything then you can go down a rabbit hole and it can get expensive but the courses can be done with iron sights. depending on the the people holding it you may have a good degree of physical elements like Tire flipping, kettle bell throwing etc. I’ve seen more people go into red dot pistols so that ups the price but it’s only a few at a match. Also when you get into armored or heavy it can be expensive because of the required gear but just to come out isn’t bad if you have the basics and 15 bucks.
