My bike got stolen the other day from the hospital where I work. It was a 1200 dollar bike, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it. I sanded it the original paint job, decals, etc off and painted it to look like a piece of shit. Worked for 5 years, but either some meth junkie liked the nice orange color or someone actually knew what they were getting.

Anyway, I decided that I could get pissed off and ruin my blood pressure and the rest of my day, or I could just shrug it off and move on. Shit happens, and there are shitty people in the world. The thing is, if he's stealing, his life probably sucks and it's probably his own fault. It's going to keep sucking and his actions will come back to him. As for me, I'm lucky enough to be able to afford another bike and I'll just be smarter about where I lock it up next time. My emotions are my responsibility, and there's no need to get all bent out of shape. Doesn't do me or anyone else any good.

I bought a pair of nice hiking pants there once for 30 dollars (originally 80) because "customer didn't like the way the fabric sounded while walking."

Any shop recommendations in the Denver area? I have not heard good things or had good experiences with any of the dealerships in the area.

Typically I take my truck up to Fort Collins to Pedersen Toyota - I do like them, but I live in Denver so that gets tiresome. I have heard some people recommend Toy Automotive.

It's time for my second timing belt and water pump and all the other miscellaneous shit that goes with it (idler pulley, cam seals, etc). Thanks and sorry for the off-topicness.

I’ve been very happy with Toy Auto Masters off Broadway. As for dealership stuff I am now driving nearly twice the distance to Groove to avoid AutoNation on Arapahoe. Their customer service is way better all around.

There’s not really anywhere to mount them except against the single layer bed and you’ll have bolts sticking out through the bed.

I guess you could try and mount them on the inside of the bed rail but it isn’t very strong to be tying much up to it...
