No taco lean on mine after the install.

 

No lean on the front. Only 3/4 inch lean on rear with a full tank of gas. That's after 1 year.

Mine is still level with no spacer after 1 year, but I don't pay much attention to it.

 

I have no Taco lean on my truck. Taco lean being side to side. I've had them on my truck for around 6 months. The Pro setup shouldn't have Taco lean because they come assembled with the driver side higher than the passenger to combat that problem.

I did have some "bro" lean with my setup. My truck is an 05 access cab 4x4 and I had the TSB rear leaf springs 3+1. I do have Firestone ride right air bags that I could air up to combat the bro lean but I didnt want to have to adjust the air bags. I do not know if I have a leak possibly but over a long time I will lose some air. So I just added the Icon progressive 3 leaf AAL without the overload. I still have the air bags with the Daystar cradles in case I am hauling something heavy or towing. My truck now sits almost perfect for my taste with just a tad of rake from front to rear and it rides excellent as well.

 

Just installed mine over the weekend. I was very worried about it being too harsh after what people on this thread have posted. Honestly I think it rides great, nose dive during braking been reduced, cornering is great and it feels planted but not harsh on the road, very controlled over bumps

My initial measurements from hub center to fender in the front were about 3.5"! After my first ride it settled 0.75" but I'm still high on the front. I didn't do anything with my leafs, I plan on installing Dakar's in a week or two to even out the massive bro lean. It perfectly evened out the taco lean too. I'm glad I was able to experience how the lift feels without introducing a new leaf pack at the same time

As I continue to procrastinate the install, more and more questions arise such as do I need to recalibrate the VSC after the lift and alignment is done?

Also I’m planning to add AAL at a later date. Will AAL impact the alignment? Thanks in advance

 

I didn't have to recalibrate the VSC after the lift or have an alignment done after I put the AAL on ( added the AAL a few weeks down the road-after the alignment was done), but I would recommend putting the AAL on when you put the lift on and then have the alignment done.

Don't over think it. It's a factory lift. Mine has been on 18 months and zero problems.

Rear suspension can't be aligned for the most part.

 

This ^ you cannot go wrong with this kit.

 

Since the kits are long gone anyone have a list of all the part numbers to assemble this piecemeal? I know it’s gonna cost more but it’s exactly what I’m looking for.

Well... from what I’ve read there is a difference in that they are specifically valved for the Tacoma amount other differences. I fully concede that the 5160s would be far more cost effective but having the pro package is worth more to me than saving money.

 

It would be obscenely expensive. You could get kings for the price.

I have the PRO kit. It's decent but not worth what toyota charges. For $580 or whatever I paid it's for sure worth it.

 

My lightly used pro kit can be made available for the right price

 

I get it. Believe me. But I’m one of those ocd guys who is looking for a very particular thing and it’s gonna bother me to the core. Ideally I’ll pick up a kit from someone who didn’t install it, but failing that I will have to piece it together myself.
