So, my brush guard arrived yesterday afternoon and I picked up my lights to install as well.

But the install wasn't without it's issues... The brush guard has 6 bolts that secure the bottom part to the frame brackets. Three of those bolts were jacked - couldn't get the nut started!

Then, I open up my lights and one of them is broken! I was able to make a late night run to Walmart to exchange my lights and found some bolts that would work until I get some good replacement ones from Home Depot.

Anyway, on to the pics (they turned out a little darker than I thought the would)...

I haven't wired up the lights yet - it was really late when I got done. So I'm gonna do that tonight. It's at the dealership getting the rear TSB done right now.

Also, finally got all of my suspension parts ordered for the 3" lift! I absolutely can't wait to get it installed and see how she looks!

That looks really good Jason. The front view is pretty intimidating. I wouldn't want you tailgating me. :D You should have plenty of light for whatever you are doing. I have one minor suggestion. When wiring those lights be sure to hide that blue wire I see in the pics. It is really obvious against the black background. Good job!

Yep - I've got some black flexi-tube-hide-wire stuff that I'm gonna use to tidy it all up tonight when I hook them up. It really peaved me that I couldn't do it last night, but it was 1:30 and I had to be up at 5...

It is possible, should you find the right dealer. I have heard a few people have had trouble.

Whether is NEEDED or not, well that's another question. I'm getting it just to see if I can get enough lift in the back to match the front 3" lift I'm putting on the front next week.

Kinda like half a lift for free... :p

Thanks! I had four on my Z71 and really liked the look. I was crossing my fingers until I got the brush guard yesterday, hoping I could FIT four lights... :)

I'm eventually going to replace these with the Rallye 4000 Black Magic lights (http://www.amazon.com/Hella-LightsC..._9?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1224170630&sr=8-9) - but only when I'm ready to spen $500 on lights...

Well, I ordered an AAL from ToyTec just in case, but hopefully won't need it.

LOOKS GREAT! Love the whole set-up. Id probably opt out for the metal over the head lights and leave the middle as you have it. Great work. Don't forget to take a picture with the lights on. :)

It's a Westin Sportsman (40-1605). Says '05-'08, but it fit just fine on my '09. I got it off Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Westin-40-160..._1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1224214980&sr=8-1) for just over $400. It's actually gone done a few bucks since I bought it! But, they offer free freight shipping - hella cheaper than buying at any local shop.

got the same type of grill on my truck but mine is from Aries, and i found it on Craig's list paid the dude 100 bucks, he originally wanted 500 but it didn't have any brackets. Did some research and found out Aries made it got in touch with them and got me a set of brackets for 30 bucks. Now who wants to buy it? I want to switch to a Manikk brush guard, i just like the look of it more.
