    Not like anyone’s stupid enough to replicate my build. The supercharger and headers are worth more than the car lol.

    That's the thing. My Bimmer OEM intake runs 30-70° over ambient. All depends on the quality of the factory or aftermarket component, per each vehicle.

    Negatory. In their climate, probably wasn't a worry. The inlet is behind the driver headlight. No direct flow, with plenty of conduction heating saturating to that side of the engine bay. This is why the OEM Tacoma intake is good. Pulls from the fender. A lot of flow as well through a larger grill opening. The aftermarket intakes, a few, take advantage of the spaces and flow points and improve further over the Tacoma OEM. Both are good when referenced against other vehicles. Aftermarket can be even better.

    Ok after some test fitting, I think the pulse damper and fuel inlet locations need to be reversed. So this will be the recommended orientation.

    Not sure exactly what Bimmer you have but I thought it was a E36? My E36 328i had a scoop on it that fed the hole behind the headlight. Are you maybe just missing that piece? And if you can use a set of factory E36 328i injectors, I have an extra set and will never have a use for them.

    I guess they thought since you’d be doing 150 on the autobahn that it’ll be irrelevant.

    The aftermarket for my car is absolutely awful. Only had short ram intakes available. I know the IAT for those will be ridiculous. This supercharger gets HOT. No intercooler either.

    I’m trying to improve on my stock intake with a new tube but my project didn’t go so well. Cut the tube so poorly that it just won’t work and now I need to buy another.

    E36 328is. I mean, who knows. Bought it 3rd hand. Lol. Only been wrecked twice, and money-shifted at least once.

    My truck's bay gets quite hot as well, with the turbo. One way to help reduce that heat is with the PTP exhaust wrap sitting on my work table. Tomorrow, it it will start coming apart for the cam swap. The header and merge will get wrapped then. In aims to keep those saturated IAT's at bay.

    Exhaust wrap will drastically aid in lower bay temps.

    I should just run a water injection line and nozzle up my hood line and zip tie it to spray onto my supercharger. Boom. Outercooled supercharger.

    Got some stuff done today. Just ran out of wire. So meth kit and ice box will be done hopefully by next weekend.

    So as long as I'm replacing my intercooler foam gasket I thought why not clean the oil residue off the intercooler. After all, every little bit of junk is reducing flow. I've understood simple green is corrosive to aluminum. Is there any reccomended cleaners? I've had a catch can for some time now but it still has junk on it from early on. Thoughts?? Maybe needless, but I wanted to make a thorough attempt at this.

    It looks good, but you my want to add rubber grommets to those holes honestly my man, otherwise you'll slice those hoses and wiring real quick with a few small movements of the bed or chaffing of the hose and wiring itself.

    I would use a simple degreaser. Let soak in it to really get it in there and then you can hose it off with the garden hose. It should come off with very minimal effort once the degreasing agent has gotten a chance to really settle in.

    The "Super Clean" brand works awesome.

    How big do people usually go with oil coolers? I just remembered I have an even bigger heat exchanger. The one I currently have on is 10 row but I’ve got a 19 row sitting in my garage too. I read about over cooling so I just went smaller.
