    Good morning. District 22 Son's of the American Legion held a Veteran's appreciation day yesterday. Amanda is Auxiliary President of our Post, she and I both helped @ the event. Vets from all around our area were bused in from local nursing homes. One bus carrying vets from the VA home in Martinsburg WV had a Pa State police cruiser meet them @ the Mason Dixon line giving the bus an escort to our event. Food was free, Auxiliary ladies had care packages for the vets with money that was donated by various entities. Veterans took turns speaking of their service and life experiences. Very emotional day. And that bugle. Gets me every time. Anyhow, time to shave and get ready to visit the big Man's house. Have a great Sunday everyone!
