Swapped back to 91 GL after running 87 GL for a month or so. 87 was hitting too many dead zones on the skinny. Not sure if it’s all the extra weight or possibly the learning being off due to wheeling it if that’s a thing/cause (honestly don’t know). 91 zipped right back up it seemed! Can’t wait for a 5.29 tune!!

I disconnected my battery to do some electrical work recently and my truck feels like stock again. I think I wasn't pushing it enough after reconnecting the battery and it learned poorly. I am trying to flash the 1.05 tune but I'm getting a corrupted file error whenever I try to flash it. Any ideas?

 

Is there a chance that when the new EROM 2.0 comes out that it will be developed for the 04B03 ecu? Or will I have to revert to using Tech Stream to update my ecu to 04B04?

 

Probably but I’d update to 04b04. It’s a simple process

 

I found the information on how to install CUW file, sounds simple. I'll try as soon as I get some free time. Correct me if I'm wrong but, you don't need Tech Stream running in the background. You just need to install it on a Windows computer in order to install the CUW file, right?

Can anyone help me? I tried to flash back to stock today and it is saying that file is corrupted as well. I don't really know what to do, but it's a little frustrating that I can't do anything without getting error messages. The P5Flash application doesn't open from the Flash Manager application either.

 

Make sure you have virus scan (win defender) off. Make sure you have correct file, seen some have tried non dongle file when they need dongle version, and vise-versa, and get corrupt file msg. Maybe re-download the tune file.

 

Thanks for the reply. I disabled the firewall, deleted the previous tunes I downloaded tonight, downloaded the stock, 87 base, and 87 performance tunes and all three still come up as corrupted files. For as great as the tunes themselves are, the software leaves a lot to be desired.

 

Try uninstalling the FM and reinstalling and THEN reflash

 

Make sure you choose “no” dongle or “yes” dongle when you download and flash.
If you choose wrong, you’ll have corrupted files.
Unless you’ve had the tune a while or bought a dongle kit, you probably DON’T.
So choose “no” dongle.

 

I just uninstalled FM and reinstalled. Still coming up as corrupted though.

I believe I have all of the settings correct. No dongle, year 2018, ECU 04A61 - AT, tunes: stock, 1.05 87 base, 1.05 87 performance, 1.05.1 87 performance. All tunes are coming up as corrupted files for me.

 

Damn, what about internet connection, you have that?

 

Does identify work? Or can you reset LV and AT?
