1GR-FE Billet Anodized Fuel Rails *** TRD SC approved ***

A few members complimented my 2TR fuel rail and encouraged me to make 1GR rails but I wasn't excited to do it because my truck wouldn't benefit and there would be development expenses. But then @loginfailed communicated his seriousness and commitment to buy and I guess that's what I needed- it also helped that he already had the parts I needed to measure and develop from haha. Three months later we have verified 3D prints that clear the TRD supercharger and confidence in the design to allow others in.

Big thanks to @05Taco4x4 for doing all of the legwork on this that I don’t have the skill set for!

There is about 5.25” of clearance between the end of the passenger side fuel rail and the firewall, so the Radium DMR 20-0223-00 should easily fit there.

The fuel input will be at the back end of the driver side rail. The pulse damper will go on the side of the driver rail, pointing roughly in line with the PCV nipple on the valve cover.




To make the crossover tube, the 90* fittings that I found to easily clear everything are these -8an orb swivel fittings from Fassterllc on eBay.

Slight thread jack but I see the first post says pricing for 1. Would you be willing to make me a one off set of 2UZ rails?

I had to adapt 2UZ rails to my 3UZ in order to use the supercharger. But the 2UZ has a return line and my 3UZ is returnless. What I had to do was use the biggest bolt possible and block the return port. Looks stupid.

 

I am just slow and methodical. Besides, there is just no way I could keep up with the "Silent Ninja Wizard"! I even spoke of that exact topic yesterday when fitting @BassAckwards TRD exhaust to my y-pipe.

You have some speedy skills my friend! More importantly your quality doesnt suffer with said speed.

 

My only hesitation is the shaving down the ports to make this work.

 

If we can get at least 5 FIC injector guys in, we might be able to convince @05Taco4x4 to make an FIC specific version.

 

If you're saying you need returnless 2UZ rails, how about I do 2UZ rails and you use a flush 8-ORB plug on the end.
I don't mind but you're looking at more than that price because the V8 rails are longer, and loginfailed already had extra parts to ship me to take measurements. I'll PM you.

 

I greatly favor that idea. Make it specific for fic injectors, with slight modifications to make factory trd injectorsto work. If yes, count me in. Let's rally the troops to get 10 guys. We're 1/5th there now.

 

I have no problem with this, I imagine most you guys getting at this time will have the FIC anyways.
I could have 3mm injector port spacers made for those wishing to use stock size injectors, the o-ring is well above that line that it would seal the same. Or if there's at least 5 of each sub-group, enough to capture the reasonable price, then maybe everyone happy to split to two orders.

Will anodizing be included? Bright red would be my first choice if I have one. If no I'll take whatever finish happens.

 

Anodizing included, black standard. I'll request different colors but usually bulk pricing means everything is EXACTLY the same.
Everyone getting in on this can request a color, but must accept that it may be black.
